Larnook is a small-batch winery established in 2022 by Alexia and Damon Roberts in McLaren Vale, where deep sandy soils and maritime breezes shape wines of freshness, texture, and soul. With a shared legacy in viticulture and winemaking, their vision is rooted in sustainability and driven by a desire to craft expressive, site-driven wines that reflect the character of their natural surroundings.
Their 2-hectare estate vineyard, with vines planted in 1922 and 1999, is farmed with minimal intervention, low irrigation, fewer tractor passes, and a deep commitment to biodiversity. Winemaker Alexia Roberts, acclaimed for her award-winning work across the region, now channels decades of experience into a contemporary range that honours both heritage and habitat.
In the spirit of reconciliation Small Story Merchants acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
